She glanced down at the bundle of joy in her arms as she gently started to rock in the rocking chair. It started to lift its fragile arms and cry for a lullaby. Her smile grew as she placed a slender, pale finger out and wiggled it in the little fingers of the baby. “Don’t cry,” she said softly, “I’m here.”
It kept crying as the mother frowned slightly, rocking it in her arms as she remained in motion in the rocking chair. “I guess I must sing.” She licked her lip then took a deep breath…

Rock a ‘by baby on the tree top.
The mother’s gentle words started to echo through the head of a boy, holding onto the top thickest tree branch as he looked down at the terrible monster snarling at him as he started to turn wide eyed. The thing started to growl threats at him, telling him that if he wouldn’t come down that it would have to make him. He was scared, hugging the tree branch and closing his eyes, praying that his father would find him. Oh how he regretted running away in the first place. He didn’t know he would have to face down to death itself. He was terrified. Help me.

When the wind blows, the cradle will rock.
Not to mention that during this, a storm was taking its toll on the tree the little boy was glued to. The wind fiercely ripped through the branches, violently shaking them as the little boy started to lose his grip. He muttered in frustration as the rain started to make the branch wet, making it become slippery. His arms started to detach from the tree as he started to panic. The beast below him didn’t mind one bit. It kept snapping its teeth up towards him, putting its arms out to catch him if he fell. A large, devilish smile spread across the creature’s face.

When the bow breaks, the cradle will fall.
The wind started to rip off small branches from the tree. He looked up every time one almost fell on him, but then the storm got wilder. The branches it was knocking off were now bigger than the ones before and would still get bigger as the wind aggressively blew, finding no mercy to weaken for the little boy’s sake. He became afraid, gritting his teeth and closing his eyes, praying again. “Don’t let the thing kill me!” he screamed to the wind, but it gave no response except loosening the branch he held on to for dear life. The animal kept smiling, seeing that the grip of the boy was loosening as the branch was getting fragile under his weight. Suddenly, there was an audible cracking sound. The sound made the boy wince at what would become his fate, but the same sound made the beast’s stomach growl in pleasure. Then, just as the wind started picking up again, the branch snapped off of the tree. The little one screamed as it fell, and the beast laughed insanely.

And down will come baby, cradle and all.
The boy kept screaming, watching himself come closer and closer to the ground when suddenly, he stopped freefalling. He kept still, thinking that he had died, but as he opened his eyes, he saw the face of the monster and its yellow teeth piercing in the night rain.
“You okay?” it asked in its disgusting voice.
He screamed again.

The mother sighed as her baby kept crying. “Oh? You don’t like that song, hm? How about Mary Had A Little Lamb?”
...I suck at the art of categorizing ;o;
ANYWAYS! I like writing (sometimes I don't get in the mood but I am now~) I wrote this cause of the boring times of waiting for friends to come on. So, this is when I thought, why not write some pointless story that has nothing to do with ANYTHING.

...and this is when I wrote this...
